I know they play the games on the field...and Seaside is a team of emotions and athletes that has a huge upside if they minimize penalties and mistakes.

But Seaside is the underdog. And by a lot if you put any credibility in the calpreps computer rankings.

calpreps says Palma is the 8th best team in CCS in spite of their loss to St Joe's. Seaside currently is ranked 29th.

It is going to take an error-free game for the Spartans to knock off the Chieftains.. That and the same positive emotion you could see on the field while Seaside was beating Soquel.

But I like the match-ups. Seaside can and is likely to put up 28+ points even against Palma's vaunted defense. Palma has not seen an aerial atttack like Seaside's yet.  If M Turner is on he should shred the Palma secondary.

And on defense, Seaside spent last week defending the run and doing it very well.  This week's runners might have more outside speed than Soquel, but Seaside is not lacking for speed on either side of the ball.

Seaside may be the underdog on the computer but I can see Palma losing by 28 to 7 this week.
